Day 59: Flagstaff, AZ (3.7.24)
I wish you a good morning and report that everything went great this time â room and breakfast. Rare enough…unfortunately. This morning I first had to fight my way through the city of Phoenix, which has a population of 1.7 million, which was bliss in the morning rush hour. My destination Flagstaff is to the north, on the way I wanted to look at the âRed Rocksâ near Sedona, which I did, as you can see in the photos. Sedona is extremely esoteric and religious – you really have to be careful that you don’t automatically become a member of some church just because you briefly swiped your credit card somewhere. The drive to Flagstaff was very entertaining because of the interesting rocky landscape. In town I first drove a little further to the start of the hiking trail to Humphreys Peak, which is the highest mountain in Arizona at 3851m, and got a bit of a breath of forest air there at 33 degrees
