Day 52: Tacoma, WA (26.6.24)

Hello everyone, after a very hot day in Wenatchee yesterday the weather changed during the night and in the morning it was raining at just 15 degrees.
My google.maps even said the Stevens Pass I was trying to drive over was closed. Great. But I still drove towards the pass and that was a good thing because it was free. At the top of the pass I looked for the trailhead (access) to the Pacific Crest Trail and hiked up the mountain for a good hour (southbound). Luckily the rain soon stopped. Then I walked the last part west in an endless caravan again until my route turned south from the town of Monroe.
The area around Seattle is very wooded and hilly and has a lot of traffic. Fun is something different, but that’s part of it too.
