Day 33: Fort Wayne, IN – Plymouth, IN (7.6.24)

Hello everyone, here I am again. After almost being blown away by the wind yesterday, I was actually hoping for a change in the weather today. But in vain, because the wind got even stronger. Up to 60kmh headwind, great! Unfortunately I had to reduce the route and only managed 125km today. Otherwise there was a clear blue sky and around 28 degrees. Fort Wayne is a larger city with a thick belt of industry and malls around it, but I only touched the edges, which was better because the traffic was bad. Since I used the US30 heading west today, which is built like a highway, I didn’t pass many places and therefore there is little to report. What was striking, however, was that there were again many references to Germany. Place names such as Frankfort, Leipsic or Bremen, but also Warsaw, leave enough room for speculation. You can read what else there was to report, including some interesting details, in our book
